Abstracts for all proposed contributions and invited talks must be submitted using the LaTex template provided for download below. The deadline for submission is December 1, 2011.
Guidelines for submission of contributed talks/posters:
- Download the LaTex template (download here) and rename it GivenNameSurname.tex
- Use the LaTex template to write the abstract, run latex/pdflatex and check the result.
- Follow the template guidelines; do not erase LaTex comments, the total length of the abstract, including references, cannot exceed one page, and do not use personal macros.
- Attach the abstract to an email with the subject Abstract CLAPEM 2012. Attach the LaTex and PDF files with the names GivenNameSurname.tex and GivenNameSurname.pdf, respectively.
- Write in the email whether the abstract should be considered as a contributed talk or a poster.
- Submit the email to abst-clapem AT dim.uchile.cl
All contributing authors will be notified by December 15, 2011, whether their abstract has been accepted and selected for oral or poster presentation.

Guidelines for poster preparation:
Posters will be display on Tuesday and Thursday from 18:00 to 19:00. Posters should be mounted from 16:30 to 17:00 on the assigned day and removed at the conclusion of the sessions on that day. The organizers will not be responsible for posters that are not removed on time.
Please note the following information regarding your poster:
- Please prepare your poster to fit the dimensions below. It is recommended that posters be prepared on one sheet cardboard. Alternatively presenters may display their material on several smaller sheets.
- The dimensions of the poster should not exceed 90 cm wide x 120 cm high.
- Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract.
- The text, illustrations, etc, should be bold enough to be read from a distance of two meters (six feet).
- Double sided tape and technical equipment will be available for the mounting of posters. Staff will also be available to assist you.
- Please refer to the Final Program book that will be available in this site for the poster board number assigned to you.
- Please use the board with the same number.
